Our signature serve is a Twisted Martini - HALF HITCH Gin on the rocks with a twist of orange. It also makes excellent G&T’s and other classic cocktails.

HALF HITCH TWISTED MARTINI

2 Parts HALF HITCH Gin

Pour over ice in a tumbler glass and garnish with orange peel.

Sir Winston is quoted as saying “Glance at the vermouth bottle briefly while pouring the juniper distillate freely”. Hence, no vermouth in this martini. This version takes one step further. No shake, no stir, just on the rocks.

HALF HITCH MARTINEZ

2 Parts HALF HITCH Gin, ¾ Part Cocchi Torino, 1 Dash Maraschino Liqueur

Stirred over ice and strained into a chilled coupette. Garnish with orange peel & Luxardo cherry.

The father of the martini, this classic delivers on both strength and taste.

HALF HITCH SOUR

1½ Parts HALF HITCH Gin, ½ Part Fresh Lemon Juice, 1/3 Part Pierre Fernand Liqueur, 2 Drops Orange Blossom Water, 1 Egg White

Shake all ingredients over ice and strain into a chilled coupette. Garnish with orange peel.

Simple yet elegant, this classic has stood the test of time. The addition of orange liqueur and blossom water complements the citrus notes of the bergamot whilst adding a little sweetness to this refreshing drink.

HALF HITCH GIN & TONIC

2 Parts HALF HITCH Gin, 5 Parts Fever Tree Indian Tonic Water

Build in a long glass with cubed ice. Garnish with a large orange peel.

The classic refreshing G&T. The key botanicals of black tea and bergamot with the orange peel garnish make a suitably complex combination of citrus, spice and rich tannins.

HALF HITCH BUCK

2 parts HALF HITCH Gin , ½ part Kamm & Sons, 6 parts Fever Tree Indian Tonic Water

Build in a long glass with cubed ice. Garnish with orange peel.

A spicy alternative to the G&T. The notes of ginseng, ginger and pepper provide a refreshing kick to finish.

HALF HITCH & RHUBARB

1 Part HALF HITCH Gin, 2/3 Part Cocchi Rosa, 1/3 Part Rhubarb Syrup, 1/6 Part Aperol, 3 Parts Soda Water

Shake all ingredients over ice and strain into a chilled wine glass. Top with the ice cold soda water and garnish with rhubarb.

Two classic British flavours – Earl Grey and Rhubarb. A tart twist to the fragrant notes of the black tea and bergamot. The wood and black pepper provide a smooth and spicy finish.

HALF HITCH GIN N’ JUICE

1 Part HALF HITCH Gin, 2 ½ Parts Prosecco, 2/3 Part Nectarine Purée, Dash of Lemon Juice, Dash of Grapefruit Bitters

Shake all ingredients over ice and strain into a chilled flute. Top with Prosecco and garnish with nectarine.

Before tonic’s creation in the 1820’s, gin was enjoyed neat or with juice. In this take on Gin n’ Juice, fresh nectarine puree provides sweet and fruity notes that complements the zest and aromatic notes of bergamot and tea. Topped with Prosecco for extra refreshment.

HALF HITCH GARDEN

1 Part HALF HITCH Gin, ½ Part sugar snap pea syrup, ¼Part Tio Peppe, 1/5 Part Lemon Juice

Shake all ingredients over ice and strain in to a tumbler filled with cubed ice. Garnish with a sugar snap pea.

Fresh, savoury and ideally straight from the garden. An alternative gin refreshment.
